Thank you for your interest in AC Crane & Sign Service, Inc.  Following is a description of the equipment, as well as our rates:

Effective April 1, 2024

• 2 cranes with 87' of reach and 2 tons lifting capacity - $200/hour ($600 for three-hour minimum) with operator
• 3 Cranes with 167' of reach and 5 tons lifting capacity - $230/hour ($690 for three-hour minimum) with operator
• Crane with 160' of reach and 15 tons lifting capacity - $250/hour ($1000 for four-hour minimum) with operator
• Crane with 184' of reach and 30 tons lifting capacity - $310/hour ($1240 for four-hour minimum) with operator
• Crane with 204' of reach and 30 tons lifting capacity - $320/hour ($1280 for four-hour minimum) with operator
• Crane rental for two men (crane operator and mechanic) for any crane - add $180/hour in addition to regular hourly rate.
• Backhoe $200/hr
• Use of our crane mounted 2 man basket is $60/hour
• Stake Body Truck (or pickup truck) $160/hour, w/ 18' Trailer - $185/hour with operator
• Steel, cut to order and delivered to the job site!  please call for current steel quotes.

Our rates are based on port-to-port from departure in Rockville back to Rockville.  We also offer weekend availability with a 4 hour minimum at an overtime rate of $150/hour additional charge for Saturday, and $180/hour additional charge for Sundays and Holidays. Normal operating hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Overtime rates apply outside these hours.

Crane Lift plans - if required are $600. Public Space Permit - $900 depending on jurisdiction.

Cancellation policy: a FOUR HOUR advance notice of cancellations must be received or else a TWO HOUR minimum charge will be imposed.

All lifting and rigging equipment is stocked on the cranes. We also offer pick-up of materials, such as A/C units, signage, etc., and delivery of these materials to the job site. We can also receive and store A/C units and equipment in our 15,000 square foot warehouse. Call for receiving and storage quotes.
